GiNT Exhibition Hall Is Open Now

Jointly sponsored by Zhejiang GiNT Vacuum Flask Technology Co., Ltd and People's Government of Dushangang Town, GiNT Exhibition Hall is open recently. It shows the technological change and the development of thermal container with real historical materials. The exhibition hall is an important window, not only for GiNT, but also for the whole thermal insulation industry.

Over the past century, thermal containers have gradually become an indispensable part in our daily life. In addition to traditional materials such as glass and stainless steel, people are also constantly seeking for new materials and developing new processes. The thermal containers also have a wide range of uses - they can hold hot water and food in daily life; they can be used to store medicines in hospitals; they can even meet special needs in industrial and agricultural fields, scientific research institutions, and sports events.

The exhibition hall is known to cover a total area of 3,000 square meters. More than 3,000 thermos flasks are displayed in chronological order, showing the origin, production and development of the whole thermal insulation industry. These exhibits also reflect the reforms and innovations in different historical periods in China.

Qiu Jingtao, curator of the exhibition hall and chairman of GiNT, said, “Do not underestimate a small thermal container – it actually integrates physics, chemistry, printing, molds and other processes, and these processes can also be used in medicine, science and technology fields.” Next, the exhibition hall will gradually open to public, aiming to attract more people, especially young students. “We want to encourage and enlighten young people’s interest in the science of vacuum insulation by introducing various techniques, including stamping die design, plastic/metal forming technology, painting process, printing technology and so on. I hope what we do will have a positive influence on the training of skilled talents.”

The thermal container was born in 1921 in China, the same year when the Communist Party of China was founded – it has witnessed the development of our country. Actually, the History Museum of CPC is next to GiNT Exhibition Hall, which also expresses our sincere blessing to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

Many people may not know that GiNT Exhibition Hall is the first thermos-themed exhibition hall in China. As a special industry in Pinghu (a city close to Shanghai, the land flowing with milk and honey), thermal insulation industry has a long history and a wide variety of products. The opening of GiNT Exhibition Hall marks a new step in the integration and development of industrial tourism in Pinghu. It has injected new vitality into Pinghu and even the whole country, and it will also produce huge economic and social benefits in the coming future.
